Glatz only uses the very best materials, but also state-of-the-art production methods in the manufacturing process. The metal parts are precisely cut and pre-drilled by CNC milling machines that are accurate down to a tenth of a millimetre. However, the marriage of frame and canopy has to be performed by hand, just like the sewing of the fabric itself, which requires much skill and experience.
Every sunshade is made up of three parts: a shaft (or pole for larger sunshades), a frame and a canopy made of fabric.
