The question of whether a hole in the sunshade fabric can be repaired or not depends on the material attributes of the sunshade fabric.
If your sunshade cover is covered with a fabric of GLATZ material classes 2 or 4, this means it is a polyester fabric that cannot be repaired. In this case, the sunshade fabric has to be completely replaced.
If your sunshade cover is covered with a fabric of GLATZ material class 5, this means that it is poly-acrylic. In this case, the hole can be repaired, resulting in a visible repair, or individual segments can be replaced. A significant amount of manual work is required for the removal of the sunshade fabric, its transportation to and from the place of the repair, and the refitting of the fabric.
